Yes! 30m Comoros logged!

UFF UFF UFF! After several attempts ... Just worked them on 30mCW. Hard it was hard ...

Done with Comoros

5 bands completed with D64K and that is it. I had a little hope for 30mCW but I can`t .... Signal so little, QRM and pile-up massive. From my experience I know when I can manage QSO with DX. This time Comoros on 30m not for me. But I`m happy with 5 bands. Last QSO on 20mSSB worked with antenna just 3m above the ground level and pointed to USA.

Some nice new DXCC QSL on LoTW received last few days: Republic of South Sudan / Malpelo Island / Saint Paul Island. Brings my confirmed countries to 253.

Spratly Islands again on AIR

9M4SLL by two experience Operators: John, 9M6XRO, and Steve, 9M6DXX is now QRV on the bands. I hope to fill some missing band slots for Spratly (IOTA AS-051). This is rare prefix and always nice log them.At the moment successfully worked on 20/15m CW and SSB. New in Phone for me.

D64K news

Fresh news from D64K. Team had very difficult landing on Comoros. 8 pieces of luggage left in Nairobi in Kenya. Only one station is now QRV. Expecting to get rest of missing equipment in next few days. Good Luck!

D64K Comoros 2012 operation beginns

D64K DX-Pedition from Grande Comore Island AF-007 just started. First active station was spotted on 15mCW. And EI9KC is happy to log them on that band and that mode for NEW DXCC on HF. Last big size DX-Pedition was dated on 2001 - D68C. In the mean time in 2007 two stations operated from Comoros Islands - D69XC and D60VB. Good Luck!

SP7IDX Hexbeam Experience

After my positive review about SP7IDX Hexbeam a lot of HAM radio operators are asking me about this fine antenna designed by G3TXQ and made to order by Waldi SP7IDX.
What more I can say ? Great DX-Performance and masterpiece design. Every part made is solid to stay for long! Working DX is now a pleasure. If I hear DX ... I work DX! Find this antenna very good. There is probably the cheapest and best built HEX now on the market.

Some people says: "I think most people don't quite realise how large a Hexbeam is until they see one for themselves, for example people think a 2 ele quad is a beast but even that has a smaller footprint than a Hexbeam."

And do you want to know what is the answer ?
Is HEXbeam operating hight!

Steve G3TXQ - designer of well known HEXbeam says:

"But "footprint" isn't necessarily a good indicator of the antenna's visual impact on neighbours. My neighbours all get an oblique view of my antennas; the difference between a 5-band Hexbeam's 4ft height and a 5-band Quad's 18ft height is then a very important factor."

End of story!
If you don`t have large garden for your antenna or your roof isn`t to big for it HEXbeam is antenna you need for DXing! 6 bands! No ATU needed! Light rotator will do a spin!

Go for HEXbeam by SP7IDX. Strongly recommended antenna!

On the end please note:
Every HEXbeam by SP7IDX is made to order. If you want more feedback do don`t hesitate ask me.

Currently SP7IDX is best built HEXbeam in Europe with best price! Do not wait long with your decision! Order new HEXbeam from SP7IDX now! And start working DX soon!
