Africa Day again ....
Two new countries logged from Africa today ... one is Brand New. It means I didn`t work this country before (11m). I was waitng few good days to work Nick 5X1NH in Uganda ... and today on 20m CW , simplex , easy 100W.
TR8CA Alain from Gabon was working French stations during (COUPE DU REF) contest but he also pick-up other stations. On 15m SSB. New one on HF. I was trying also with Malawi on 12m but no luck. No worries .... next time.
I will be less active on the radio next days ... my wife and childrens are comming back from winter break. Family life is number one! Do not forget it.

Cocos (Keeling) Islands !
East part of the World is for some reason difficult to work from my location. Just few times herad VK and ZL. JA is also rare , all Far East. And today I was waiting about 1 hour for Cocos (Keeling) Islands to hear on 12m. Signal was building from 0 to workable. And is in my log now :) Wide split up 4.3 but worked. New country for me on HF. Cocos (Keeling) I have confirmed on 11m years ago. Nice one anyway! (12m CW) VK9C/G6AY
I`ve visited their website and they say: "..... VK9C/G6AY will be active on CW only......" This is also main reason why I had to learn CW. I`m not expert now, still leraning but have a lot of fun working in CW!
P.s. Patience .... it`s important to wait for right moment .... just worked them again on 20m CW! When I had a plan to turn antenna to West I`ve decided try. They were active for so long on 14Mhz and I had no hope to work them with 100W ... but I did! Almost 5PM local time no bad Folks! Thanks for great Fun!

Little Solar Flux ?
I was complaining about little solar flux today didn`t I ? .... 4 new countries in my log today ! Latest D2AM Laci from Angola!
And two stations from Martinique during REF French Contest.
Summary new ones for today: Paraguay, French Guyana, Martinique and Angola.
Old Friend Bruno ...
I had a QSO today with FY8DK Bruno. Good friend of mine from 11m. He was active for French contest. Last QSO with Bruno I had last summer when he was active from St Barthelemy Island. I`ve meet him 11 years ago in Asti. Thanks Bruno for a new one on HF!
12m
SFI was low today ... just 88 and 10m was closed in Ireland. 12m with little openings for few minutes gave me new countries on this band and one new on HF. The new one is Paraguay ZP6CW. Opening for South America and Caribean was for 30 minutes only.

I was waiting for VP8LP Bob from Falkland Island on 12m last few days .... I just worked him on 20m SSB. This is new DXCC for me on HF. I had only one QSO with Falklands from 11m.
My PA is fixed now. Cover 24Mhz - 30Mhz. I`m consider to sell it ... will keep for few days and I will see how is working on these bands.

Another Brand NEW from Africa!
J5NAR Laszlo from Hungary now in Guinnea-Bissau is my Brand New DXCC. 20m CW. Good condition almost all day from Africa direction in my QTH. My Multibander without rotator is set to beam Africa. Contact made at 20:28 UTC.
In the morning I was happy to work TJ9PF RTTY on 20 and 15m. I`m not big fan of RTTY and Digi modes so far but is good experience to try and test condition on the bands.

Dominica Island in the morning ...
J79EA is my new DXCC worked on HF. Lucky heard this station on 30m this morning before went to work. No spot on cluster, just right moment and right frequency hi hi :) Big signal heard, just 100W from the other side and Buddipole antenna. This is real DX and nice QSO to remember. I`m also first station from EI in his log. And .... fast eQSL! Thank you Weymouth (K8EAB)!
My 79m long Wimdom dipole works great on "Magic Band 30m". I`m not happy with 40m on it and 80m as well. The rest (160 / 20 / 17 / 15 / 12 / 10 ) OK.
